Buddhist Monk Explains Why We Should Treat Animals With Compassion

Most people say that they love animals, yet they still contribute to their suffering and death through their consumer behavior.

In the following video, Buddhist monk Matthieu Ricard beautifully reminds us that animals are sentient beings deserving of our love, and inspires us to stop seeing them as commodities and start treating them with kindness, compassion and respect.
